From fin-tech & D2C, to entrepreneurship & investing, Kaleidoscope is Klub's take on the how's and why's of the finance, investment, & D2C worlds.

The Sharks are betting on entrepreneurs not just based on their business models, but also the motivations that drive their product. This week, we saw entrepreneurs say No to the status quo and build brands that create new solutions for old problems.

Key takeaways from this week's episodes:

  • Mental health is the next IT industry: This week, we saw multiple tech-enabled solutions to improve statistical outcomes about Indians and the declining state of our mental health. What was the Sharks' response to this wave?
  • Once again, Indian specialities are a founder favourite: Multiple pitches this week were about products trying to re-popularise indigenous ingredients from the Indian peninsula for their unknown capabilities for health, taste, experience, etc.
  • Entrepreneurs hate compromise: Be it the cheese you find in the street food or school books as you know them, founders want better. Many pitches this week like Cremeitalia and Holokitaab sold new alternatives to enhance the outcomes we get from current products. Did it work on the Sharks?

What shocked us was this rumour on Twitter which is yet to be confirmed:
